We all hear the cliche about long distance relationships and how they never work and that may be kind of true in a sense,? but just about any statement you want to make can be kind of true in a sense.? See,? most of the time,? long distance relationships do not work because of the simple fact that the people involved do not believe that it will last,? so at the first sign of a problem, they are quick to bail.? That does not mean that it is impossible for you to make things work and even get your girlfriend back no matter what the distance may be.

1.? Keep yourself optimistic about the situation.
A pessimistic outlook on things is never the corner stone of a successful relationship.? If you are going to have a negative attitude towards the fact that there is a distance between you and your ex girlfriend,? then don't expect to have her back in your life any time soon.? After all,? no one really wants to be in a relationship with a negative person,? do they?
2.? Find ways to bridge the distance with her.
If you make no effort at all on your behalf to bridge the distance between you and your ex girlfriend,? what would make her want to do the same?? This is a situation where you definitely have to give a little in order to get a little.? Make a trip out to see her just as friends,? so that you have a chance to reconnect and reignite any attraction that she might feel for you again,? opening up the possibility that you will get her back.
3.? Don't be too agressive about wanting to be exclusive with her again.
It's kind of a lot of pressure to put on a woman to expect her to remain exclusive with you when she is a long distance away.? That's not to say that she will not be,? but if you are too agressive about wanting things to be exclusive again right away,? then chances are she will think about it and decide that it's just too much for her to take in all at once and say NO to you.? You want to make it EASY for her to say YES.
